Jeff asked:

Based in Anaheim, California - the Angels are a professional baseball team ordeal established in 1961 when it started as an extension team which has been part of the American League western division ever since its inception.  The name angels was given to the team because of the fact that Los Angeles was the home of this baseball franchise and even though they moved to Anaheim they have had a great influence by the city of angels.  The team has also been known by several other names such as the halos, los Angelitos, the Seraphs, the wings, etc.

Their ballpark is the angel stadium of Anaheim; the team owner is Arte Moreno, the team manager is Mike Scioscia and the general manager is Tony Reagins.

Accomplishments and important moments:

Even though the team was founded in 1961 they have had several accomplishments that earned them a special place in the AL western division as well as in California.  The team has had one wild card Berth in 2002 and they have also earned one American League pennant during the same year.  The angels have also earned seven west division titles in the years of 1979, 1982, 1986, 2004, 2005, 2007 and finally in 2008.  Two top it all off, the angels have had a successful World Series participation in 2002.

Pitchers in the current roster:

-Joe Sounders

-John Lackey

-Ervin Santana

Los Angeles Angels recent news:

They need those that seem to have trouble connecting those timely hits which is the reason why the Red Sox are on the lead for game 3.  According to recent news, transforming adversity into opportunity is the Angels’ New Mission statement and precisely what they are all about as they approach tough adversaries that leave no room for error.

It appears that as it is, the responsibility of taking the team to victory will rest on the shoulders of the pitchers who will have the battle against heavy hitters, this pitchers are Saunders and/or Beckett.

Atlanta Falcons Tickets for Truly Awesome Football

August 11th, 2009
playoff tickets
Al Terry asked:

Many football lovers do not mind lining up for Atlanta Falcons tickets because they know they are lining up for awesome football action. The Falcons are known as a real fighting team and though they are yet to pull in that big Super Bowl win, they certainly have the potential to do so.

The Atlanta Falcons are part of the National Football League and are also affiliated with the NFC South and the American Football Conference. They play their home games at the Georgia Dome and currently have one Conference championship and three Division titles to their name. The Falcons have made the Super Bowl playoffs a number of times but are yet to win it.

Enter The Falcons

The Falcons burst onto the football scene in 1966 and started things on a low note. Despite respectable sales of Atlanta Falcons tickets the team lost their very first game and would go on to lose their first none games of the season. This may have seemed like a bad way to start but the Falcons quickly made up for it by defeating the New York Giants, one of the stronger teams in the NFL.

By 1971, the team was able to find their footing on the field and had their first winning record. Their game improved steadily as did the sales of Atlanta Falcons tickets. By 1978, the Falcons stormed into the playoffs, which they ultimately lost. The Falcons would reach the playoffs in 1980, 1981 and 1991 but would never clinch the big win. Many people would see this as a pattern in Falcon football.

The Dirty Bird Falcons

By 1998, the Falcons were known as the Dirty Bird Falcons. They had definitely put on considerable muscle on the field and as a result, 1998 proved to be their best season ever. They were able to break the losing streak they were suffering from with regard to games played in colder climates like New England. They were also able to claim a Division title, have a 14-2 season record and perhaps sweetest of all, defeat NFL kings the Vikings.

In 2001, with fan expectations and Atlanta Falcons tickets on the high end, the Falcons picked up NFL superstar Michael Vick in a trade. While Vick managed to lead the team to a number of victories, he broke his leg in 2003 and the team’s record dipped to an embarrassing 5-11. Speculation and criticism at this time began to amount against Vick, who many people saw as putting himself at unnecessary risk of injury.

Though Vick would return to the Falcons in 2004, they still seemed to be struggling on the field. However, they were gradually able to regain their momentum and gave football fans something sweet to see when they pummeled the Rams in a championship game 47-17. Today, the Falcons definitely look poised for another playoff berth and many football enthusiasts are wondering if the Falcons will be able to make it even further this time. The only way to find out is to get yourself some Atlanta Falcons tickets so you can watch that Falcons action live. You can even purchase your Falcons tickets the easy way by buying them online through an authorized ticket vendor.

Get Blown Away With Buffalo Bills Tickets

August 21st, 2008
playoff tickets
Al Terry asked:

Buffalo Bills tickets aren’t just for any football fan. Just like the original Buffalo Bill, these boys play a mean game of football and have a reputation for being one of the most powerful teams. Not only have the Bills been home to some of football’s biggest stars, but they’ve also racked up an impressive collection of championships too.

The Buffalo Bills play under the National Football League and are also a part of the American Football Conference and the AFC East. The Bills play their home games from the Ralph Wilson Stadium and currently hold two league championships, four conference championships and a whopping ten division championships.

Getting Down And Defensive

The Buffalo Bills first hit the field in 1959 and seemed to start off on the wrong foot, becoming the first and only NFL team to lose to a Canadian football team in 1961. However they were quickly establishing themselves as a powerful defensive team as well. The Bills began to gradually build their offensive power until they began to emerge as a truly powerful team.

By the 1970s, the Bills acquired one of their most famous or perhaps infamous players of all. OJ Simpson would become the face of the Buffalo Bills in the seventies, fronting a group of core players known as the Electric Company. By now Buffalo Bills Tickets were becoming a popular item as football enthusiasts across the country came to watch OJ and his boys work their magic on the field.

K-Gun And The Cooling Off

By the eighties, Buffalo Bills tickets were one of the hottest football tickets on the circuit. The team had added more powerhouse players to its arsenal, like Jim Kelly who often took the shotgun formation, thus originating the term K-Gun. However Super Bowl stardom seemed to be just slipping beyond the team’s grasp each time. While they were able to rake in the Division titles, they weren’t able to make that big win.

By 1996, heavyweights like Kelly were running out of steam and after that season Kelly retired. The loss hit the Bills hard, who finished their 1997 season with a 6-10 season record.

From 1998 onwards, the Bills have been trying to shake up their team, trying to get that winning formula together. This includes bringing on players like Doug Flutie who has been a huge fan draw and the reason for a number of Buffalo Bills ticket sales. In 1999 the Bills became involved in one of the most controversial plays in football known as the Music City Miracle against the Tennessee Titans. During the game, a controversial touchdown was made by the Titans which was incredibly close to being an illegal play. However, all replays proved to be inconclusive and the touchdown as allowed. The Titans then advanced to the Super Bowl and The Bills seemed to sink further into their slump.

The Bills have been putting a remarkable amount of effort into their performances on the field and are driving towards a playoff berth and even a slot at the Super Bowl. You can watch them by getting your Buffalo Bills tickets online from an authorized ticket vendor. This will even save you the hassle of waiting in line for tickets.

Tennessee Titans Tickets Mean Terrific Football

June 6th, 2008
playoff tickets
Al Terry asked:

When you have Tennessee Titans tickets, you can be sure of a football game that has the important Big Ts in it- toughness and terrific football. The Titans are a team that have seen the worst and have not let it bring their game down. Despite numerous relocations and disappointments, the Titans have always played great football.

The Tennessee Titans are a National Football League team that is also affiliated with the American Football Conference and the AFC South. They play their home games at LP Field and have eight Division titles and one Conference championship to their name. They have yet to win a Super Bowl title.

From Oilers To Titans

The Titans were founded in 1960 as the Houston Oilers. The Oilers did well in the AFL and were able to distinguish themselves with back to back AFL championship wins in 1960 and 1961. However, as was the fate with many AFL teams, the merger with the NFL in 1970 did not treat them kindly. It wouldn’t be until 1974 that the team would be able to bring their game up to speed after adding a number of good players to their roster.

The eighties, however. seemed to pull the team down yet again and it wouldn’t be until the nineties that the team would get its groove back. They seemed to be on the winning track after getting a Division title win in 1991. But all was not well off the field. The management was not impressed with the way the Titans were doing and in 1993, the team was threatened with dissolution if they did not make the Super Bowl. The Oilers just weren’t able to deliver and as promised, the team’s best player was traded off. By 1996, the team was at its lowest. Game attendance was so low that one could actually hear conversations on the field from the stands. In 1997, the team was moved to Tennessee.

A New Beginning

In 1999, the team began a new era under the name Tennessee Titans and in a show of support football fans bought a number of Tennessee Titans tickets. The Titans did not disappoint and played some of their best football ever, finishing their first season with a fabulous 13-3 record. Many dubbed this season as the Cinderella Season for the Titans and Tennessee Titans ticket sales were going through the roof. The Titans found themselves in two famous NFL moments known as The Tackle and the Music City Miracle. The Titans would also finally make the Super Bowl playoffs.

Just when their game was improving, the Titans were hit with a large spate of player injuries in 2004. The following year, the Titans would field the youngest team in the NFL and the Titans’ game and overall performance improved greatly. Today, they are very strong contenders for the Super Bowl and the large jump in Tennessee Titans tickets is proof that you will not be able to hear conversations on the field anymore. For football lovers everywhere, tickets to see the Titans play are tickets to see great football, plain and simple. You can buy your Tennessee Titans tickets online from an authorized ticket vendor.
