They were first noticed with their teal uniforms that matched their nickname “Marlins” or “The Fish”. As a new team then, they had their beginning path with wins and losses. Florida Marlins recent news:

The Florida Marlins will soon change the teams name into Miami Marlins. This is part of the approved deal which involves the building of Marlins Ballpark, at the site of Miami Orange Bowl that used to be just for football. The Marlins are expected to move to their new home and will be leaving the Dolphin Stadium on 2011 or 2012. The team is supposed to play their last season as the Florida Marlins in 2012.

Marlins fans who have been loyal to the team, watch out for the Florida Marlins’ another great performance this coming season.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada -the blue jays are the professional baseball team that was established back in 1977 when it was part of the American league east division.  The Toronto blue jays originally started as an expansion team and it is currently the only major league baseball team to be located outside of the United States.  Their current ballpark it is a Roger center, the team owner is Ted Rogers, the manager is Cito Gaston, the general manager is J.P.  Ricciardi and the president of baseball operations is Paul Godfrey.

The tour of the blue jays is quite a remarkable team due to the fact that it started out as an expansion franchise and it is in fact the fastest American League franchise that was able to win a world series in Canada during the franchise 16th year, a time frame that beats the record previously established by the Kansas City royals.

In addition, the blue trees have won five east division titles (1985, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993); we have also won two American League pennants in two consecutive years (1992 and 1993) and last but not least they have also earned two world series titles in the same two years recently mentioned.
