The Netac K390 is a hardware-encrypted external hard drive featuring an independent keypad for password entry, supporting 0-12 digit password settings. By entering the password directly on the physical keypad, it effectively prevents hackers from stealing data via malicious software on the host computer. The drive utilises military-grade AES256 hardware encryption, ensuring data is stored in encrypted form and hardware encryption is synchronised with reading. If the drive is accessed without the correct password (e.g., through brute-force disassembly), the data is automatically destroyed, providing the highest level of data protection.

Equipped with a USB 3.0 interface, the drive delivers read and write speeds of up to 150MB/s and is backward compatible with USB 2.0. It offers broad compatibility with Windows, Mac, Linux and Android operating systems, supporting plug-and-play functionality without the need for formatting when transferring data between different devices.
