The OMRON HEM-8712 Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure, detecting the blood pressure movement in the brachial artery and converting it into a digital reading. Featuring IntelliSense Technology, it intelligently predicts and automatically inflates the cuff to the ideal level during each measurement, making operation simpler, more comfortable, and faster.
This model includes several practical functions: the Cuff Wrapping Guide indicates whether the cuff is wrapped correctly by displaying an "OK" symbol on the screen; the Hypertension Indicator blinks the heartbeat symbol when the measured blood pressure exceeds 135/85 mmHg, alerting users to pay attention to their blood pressure health; the Body Movement Detection prompts users to retake the measurement if an error is detected due to body movement, ensuring accurate results every time.
Additionally, the monitor features a Stores Last Measurement function, allowing users to compare with their previous reading and monitor blood pressure trends. It comes with a soft cuff that conforms comfortably to the shape of the arm. The one-touch operation design allows users to start or stop measurement with a single button. It can be powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries (approx. 1000 measurements) or an optional AC adapter (input AC100-240V). Made in Vietnam, with a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
