The MWL5S is Pentel's best-selling pump-action whiteboard marker from the MAXIFLO series, designed for high-volume use in offices, schools, and meeting rooms. It features a fine bullet tip with a tip diameter of approximately 1.5–1.6mm and produces a line width of approximately 4.0mm.

The unique pump-action system allows you to replenish ink flow by pressing the end button when writing becomes faint, restoring vivid colour instantly. This design does not damage the nib. A visible ink window lets you check the remaining ink level at a glance.

The liquid ink system delivers a writing distance of over 1800 metres, approximately 2–3 times that of standard whiteboard markers. The alcohol-based ink is xylene-free, toluene-free, and ethylene glycol-free for safe, low-odour use. Even if the cap is left off, the nib remains wet for up to 8 hours at room temperature.

The ink produces vivid, standout colours and wipes off easily with a dry cloth or board eraser. The marker body is made from 38%–50% recycled materials (varies by region). This whiteboard marker is non-refillable. Suitable for use on whiteboards and porcelain boards.
