The YORTER CM-8210FN is a professional smart magnetic/non-magnetic coating thickness gauge that quickly and accurately measures the thickness of coatings on metal substrates. It is suitable for measuring paint, plating, film and other coating thicknesses on magnetic metal substrates (such as steel) and non-magnetic metal substrates (such as aluminium and copper), widely used in industrial manufacturing, quality inspection, automotive repair and anti-corrosion engineering.
The measurement range is 0 ~ 1500μm (0 ~ 59mil / 0 ~ 1.5mm), with a resolution of 0.1μm (<100μm) or 1μm (≥100μm), switchable to 0.1mil or 0.001mm.Measurement error is ±5μm for ≤150μm, and ±(3%H+1μm) for >150μm.The gauge supports a minimum diameter of 12mm and minimum thickness of 0.5mm for magnetic metal substrates, a minimum radius of curvature of 2mm for magnetic convex substrates, and 11mm for magnetic concave substrates. For non-magnetic metal substrates, the minimum diameter is 50mm and minimum thickness is 0.5mm.Power can be supplied by 3 × 1.2V NiMH batteries (weight 36.5g) or a 5V1A power adapter. Dimensions are 70.30 × 38.6 × 149.59mm.
